Review: VAX Air Lift Steerable Pet Vacuum Cleaner #ad

VAX reviewI can’t believe I’ve become such a mummy blogging cliché, but I almost did a back flip when I was asked to review a new vacuum cleaner. My old one was on it’s last legs, and it was all very fortuitously timed, but still.

I read an article which made me smile recently. Apparently men who do their fair share of the household chores are better lovers. Fortunately for me I have a husband who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. It was him who christened the new vacuum – and not just so I could take photos for this post 😉

Anyway, I digress.

The VAX Air Lift Steerable Pet Vacuum Cleaner is very much one cleaner for all your cleaning needs. It’s easy to use, versatile and very well thought out in its design. It’s a fab piece of household kit, and I’m going to find it difficult to grumble about much I have to say.

The Pros

Top of the list has to be the lift out cylinder which easily detaches from the main unit. This turns it into a really compact vacuum, which makes it super useful to get into all the nooks and crannies. The stairs in my house are gleaming, and it’s great for hoovering underneath the Christmas tree.

It’s powerful and doesn’t lose any of its suction, even when the cylinder starts getting full.

It’s energy efficient and boasts an overall rating of A.

It’s great for sucking up pet hairs, or if you have a dust allergy sufferer in your house.

It’s lightweight at just over 6kg.

The Cons

As I said, I’m going to find it difficult to complain about this vacuum cleaner and come up with a ‘cons’ list. If I had to say something it would be that there are three little extra tools/nozzles, but only enough room on the vacuum for two of them to live. Also because the power cable is so long you have to make sure it’s always behind you otherwise it can be a little bit annoying. Told you there wasn’t much to grumble about!
