Proud Mummy Moment

Earlier this month we had a taster session at the school our 4yo daughter will join in September. I was really chuffed to see her walking in with confidence and playing with the other kids from the off. She had such a fun time, and seemed to settle straight in.

I feel awful admitting that proud mummy moments have been few and far between for us this year, but she has come a long way from the sleep deprived challenging child she was just three months ago. I really don’t think we’ll have to worry about her first few weeks at ‘big girl’ school anymore.

I think it’s rather fitting to link this up to the lovely Oliver’s Madhouse Magic Moments linky.

Thanks so much for your lovely comment. It does go really fast! Although it’s sad that they are growing up it’s also so exciting for them. Hope your little one enjoys pre-school and settles quickly xx

Lovely to hear she had fun and was full of confidence – that’s exactly what you want to see, isn’t it, so no wonder it was a magic moment for you. My daughter’s got a year at preschool first, but I know it’ll fly by and I hope to be writing a similar post to you this time next year. Hope she settles in nicely x
