Upon receiving your grains, please put them immediately into a sugar water situation to make your first batch of kefir. You will need to make a solution in a one litre glass jar with 1/4cup (4 tbsp) of sugar, and about 950ml of filtered water (dissolve the sugar in a little bit of boiled water, and top up with cold). Add your grains last, and leave to ferment at room temperature for two to three days. The warmer the better, mine ferment fast in my hot kitchen.
This listing is for a 1/4cup of water kefir grains, and starter juice from my master batch. It will weigh at least 60grams. Your grains will be posted out on the day they were changed to ensure maximum freshness.
I go to the post office around midday, so orders received before then will be sent on the same (working) day, otherwise it’ll be the following day. Please note, that in accordance with Royal Mail guidelines, a package is only classed officially lost after 15 working days (3 weeks). In the unlikely and unfortunate event of you not receiving your grains, I will process a replacement/refund after this time.
