Fireman Sam Heroes of the Storm at Hamleys #ad

Fireman Sam Heroes of the StormWe were kindly invited by Mattel yesterday to London’s most famous (and fabulous!) toy shop Hamleys, for an exclusive viewing of the new kids movie Fireman Sam Heroes of the Storm. The main plot being that a hurricane is on its way and Sam, et al, have to ensure that everyone is safe and save the day. It’s a tale of bad weather; friendship; and triumphing over adversity in the eleventh hour (obvs). The film contained not even a hint of a ‘baddie’ which is essential for my eldest’s enjoyment, as she can get really distressed otherwise.

Family Photo at Hamleys 310815Asides from the film itself, we were in a special room kitted out with Fireman Sam paraphernalia, as well as cinema snacks. We also had a real treat afterwards where the main man himself arrived to a celebrity welcome on the red carpet. All in all it was a pretty good way to spend our bank holiday Monday, and the last of hubby’s staycation. We all had a brilliant day out in London Town!

The children have made a little video for you all to tell you what their favourite bits of the day were. Hope you enjoy it 🙂
