Easiest Tastiest Meatballs Ever

My girls are off trick or treating with the neighbours in a bit. It’s a lovely little event organised by one of the dads. Everyone is bringing something savoury to share, and this is our offering.

Ingredients for 40 decent sized balls:
500g beef mince
500g pork mince
Tbsp sea salt
Tbsp dried mint
Tbsp dried rosemary

Method:
– put all ingredients into a large bowl and squidge together

– form into little ball shapes

– brown off over a high heat in a non-stick frying pan, as below

– transfer to the oven and cook for 30 mins on 150C

– can be enjoyed hot or cold

  1. Half and half is definitely best 🙂

  2. I have an ongoing debate with a friend about which meat meatballs should be made with, I always vote for a 50/50 mix so glad to see someone else on my side!

  3. They’re a must for the kitchen aren’t they. Rosemary and mint have been my only growing successes, so I dry the herbs out then whiz them up and keep them in glass jars. Perfect seasonings xx

  4. No need for extra oil, just brown off in their own juices. Let me know if you try them xx

Yummy and easy… Your recipe is right up my street! Do you shallow fry or are these babies cooked with no grease other that that released by the meat? X

  6. Fab recipe, dried herbs are a great standby ingredient I always use them. Happy Halloween. x

  7. I love the healthy cooking you do with meat. These look so tasty.
