Will I get good use out of it? if yes, I’ll do a happy dance and accept the offer, if no I’ll politely decline.
It wasn’t so straight forward this time around though, because it meant actually wearing a bikini and posting photos here on the blog. A swimsuit that is much more revealing than anything I’ve worn in the six years I have been a mum.
Never one to miss out on a fabulous opportunity though, I did that happy dance, said hell yeah, and chose an itsy bitsy teeny weeny gorgeous Roidal bikini.
When I was 20 I moved into a travellers house with a bunch of crazy antipodeans. After seeing my knickers on the line one of them told me off for not having nice enough underwear. She forced me to chuck most of it in the bin and go out shopping with her to buy proper lingerie that matched, fitted well, looked fab and most importantly felt great. From that moment onwards I have stuck rigidly to this criteria, and have always had a similar attitude to swimwear.
“The maxim ‘less is more’ comes to mind when we explore this collection and Roidal certainly have gone for the minimalist approach with the Robin bikini. The simple, rich purple gets straight to the point and is unabashedly sexy, rather than fussy. Perfect for the seasoned Roidal woman, who looks for sophistication and elegance in her swimwear.”
When I reveal my body for all to see I want to feel as good about myself as I possibly can, which is why I chose a Roidal bikini. I have to say I feel pretty darn special when I’m wearing it. There’s a certain amount of confidence that this stunning bikini bestows upon me, and rather than trying desperately to cover up my mum-tum, and worrying about my uneven boobs, I’m happy to show them off.
I made a short video clip as well, so you can truly see what it looks like from all angles. There’s no escaping from my wobbly bits, but as I said in my original post this body has grown three babies, of course I’m going to have wobbly bits!
*I was sent this bikini free of charge, in exchange for my honest opinion. For my full disclosure policy, please click here.
